🛠️ Why is the Premium Service only available on wall-hung split systems?
Wall-hung split systems are designed with accessible indoor and outdoor components that allow for deeper cleaning, especially of the evaporator coil and drain pan. This level of access isn’t possible or practical with:
- Ducted systems, where indoor units are typically mounted in ceilings or under floors.
- Cassette systems, where the indoor unit is recessed into the ceiling.
Our Premium Service includes a high-pressure wash and sanitisation of the evaporator coil and outdoor condenser unit, which requires dismantling and specialist equipment.
What type of air conditioner do I have?
1. Wall-Hung Split System (Eligible for Premium Service)
This is the most common type in homes. It has:
- A long, slim unit mounted high on a wall indoors.
- A separate outdoor compressor unit.

2. Ducted System (Not Eligible for Premium Service)
Used for whole-house heating and cooling. It has:
- One large indoor unit (usually in the ceiling or underfloor).
- Ductwork connected to outlets throughout the home.
- One outdoor unit.

3. Cassette Type Unit (Not Eligible for Premium Service)
Typically found in offices and retail spaces. Features:
- An indoor unit recessed into the ceiling grid.
- Airflow from four sides.
- Outdoor unit connected via piping.
